Dare for the shock-quakes
Some litmus test precipitate
A frozen stop, a backward step
As ‘nay' pervades a gassing of
Supplicant and chosen both
Triggering a spending spree of embarrassment
Colouring us one beneath the skin deep
Above all separation, upon a nail-bed of our wants
Defer and it slides
Tightening one, slackening one
Hold on life
A shape recedes to limbo
Regret swallows, regurgates a scalding
Possibility once chewed is hockered
Into deceit, the colour of its ashes calculating its final percentage
Of true
Night falls on two dimensional civilised news
Another bogus treaty
The ritualistic licking of wounds
