Darkness



Darkness
Darkness is my new best friend
My old best friend left me out in the dark.
He broke a promise to me
His promise was to always be my friend no matter what.
Ha!
Look at me now.
All alone by myself in the dark.
Darkness is my new best friend.

This is a beautiful poem, and paints the gloomy feeling of one left by a friend in a telling way. So much after the heartbreak.
