Dawn - Poem by Thomas Carter

Are you deafened by the scream of you shadow
or are you lost in your mind
Are you laying face down on a grassless meadow
hoping you will find
the solution is always in front of you
how did you manage to turn you back
it's not to late for you
act

The sun will blind us
the day will come
why do you fear us
we are just one

The sun will blind us
the day will come
the truth will come out
we are all just one.

    The sun will blind us

    the truth will come out
we are all just one.. yes truth has to come out and truth shall win in our lives. dawn as a symbol of a new birth which kills fear and find joy in the truth... tony

Insightful piece of poetry, well articulated and nicely penned in good rhyme scheme with conviction. Thanks for sharing Thomas. (Report) Reply
