Dawn Of The Phoenix Poem by Pamela Storch

Dawn Of The Phoenix

In an ancient desert,
In a Holy ancient land,
The mountains speak with wisdom,
That the heart can understand,

The sunset of the ages,
Over mountains graced with gold,
Become the phoenix rising,
From the ashes, days of old,

The ibex gaze with wonder,
By the sea that's dead and gone,
By waterfalls they listen,
As the foothills whisper on,

They sense the phoenix rising,
Rising from Ein Gedi's springs,
For only what is hidden,
Can reveal the King of Kings.
