the skies are rolling away
for the darkness to crawl over me

my world is falling apart
desperation dripping as it cracks
as the wind blows to the west

my shoulders are slowly drooping
silent cry from far within
like a loud echo in the night
of a wounded animal stranded and beaten

oh don't turn away my beloved
i need you beside me
thunder is shuttering the skies
haven't we sailed the boat together?
was it not rocky before?
did we not wipe each others tears?
behind fogged glass windows
cradling in each other's closeness
we ae alone again and
i fear to watch helpless
slowly
starshaped grey leaves swishing in the wind
like feathers
your back slipping.....
away into the mist
leaving me......

i need you back, my beloved
so i can wish my dreams are real
hold my hand
safe.....safe
yes stay with me
till the night passes.
