Day's Remnants Unfurled Poem by Ulysses Bandi

Day's Remnants Unfurled

The day ended with all its regular woes and melancholic happiness.
Whatever is left is segmented into the enclaves of joy and sappiness
And then the night takes over when the mind tries to unfurl the imbued
Colors that the day brought forth while the spirit refreshing seeks cover.

The inexplicable joys of a myriad sorrows entering our days are mostly
A worthy prospect when looked back through the windows of hindsight
But handling it then at the moment successfully, one can't possibly tell.
Oh well, the nocturnal night is there, to douse it all and also suspect.

We live to see, we live to tell!
All that we do is part and parcel
Of what our spirit tells us to be.
For what?
No one knows but does the self?
