That phone screen is a stage
and all the social posters merely players.
They have their poses and their perfect faces
and each of them will film their chosen acts.
'This is me - I'm eating breakfast. It's so tasty '-
A sugar rich concoction Kelloggs sent her,
hoping she will influence you suckers
to rush down to the shops to buy the same.
'And what about this sweatshirt made of cotton -
sustainable' or so the makers claim.
'No one will ever fancy you, that's certain
unless you buy one like it straight away.
Observe my perfect world.' You lonely losers.
Fixate on this online bubble fiction
and never dare to think outside its walls.
She photoshops her photos to depress you,
cos none of you look half as good as her.
'This is me reclining in the sunshine
with Caribbean sea and sand all round.'
What you won't suspect - it's just a backdrop
projected by technology to fool you.
'That's all for now my much esteemed disciples,
devoted as you are to all I say.
Be back soon to tell you all about it'
That perfect life she flaunts to bring you down.
Beware the online influencer children
who peddles her malevolence for bribes.
