Dead Poem by William Levy

Dead

For so long I kept this silence
I held onto it for fear of losing myself

But
I have nothing
Nothing
To keep me
Nothing
To see inside
Nothing
To hold onto

not anymore

This world is a prison of closed off ideas
and our fear is the guard that keeps us
But you must break it
break free

Say every damn word
because nothing really matters
unless it matters to you

be alive again
