Dead Or Alive, On The Inside

Verse

I'm dead, I'm alive, and nothing will condemn me,
This pain, this is pride, a message I am sending,
I stay, will I leave, a choice that I'm pretending,
Not mine, but in time, its one that you'll make for me.
PreChorus

But still I sit here waiting, to feel something, that I've longed for.
Chorus

Oh no aye, oh no aye, oh no I don't pretend
Slowly dieing, never living, always comprehend,
Oh no aye, oh no aye, oh no I may surmise,
Quickly lieing, always hiding, running from the light,
Oh no aye, oh no aye, oh no I can't
Ignore,
Silent retching, soul ascending, sickened to my core,
Oh no aye, oh no aye, oh no I can't be right,
Am I dieing, am I living, please answer me tonight.
Verse

No trust, I can't love, this rage is never ending,
This place, I don't know, my memory is fading,
There is, no more joy, cuz its tearing out from in me,
My pain, is replaced, by something worse I'm fearing.

Verse

I try, and I rise, ignoring what you tell me,
I smile, been a while, this feeling I need to see,
I serve, now I lurk, the shadows are not healing,
This work, and this hurt, the suffering that I need.
