Deaf Impressions Poem by Princess Moultrie

Deaf Impressions

i walk into a room
i hear nothing but a sound.
i don't know anything
i can't turn around.
my mind freezes
and i can't even think.
i hate the fact
that i have to see a shink.
they tell my i'm different
they always call me names.
i can't stand what they say
if only i could make them feel the same.
sometimes i walk into a dark room
only in a place where nothing seems to bloom.
they say i'm depressed
but i know i'm not.
if only me and that sound
had never ever faught.
i hate them
ihate them all.
all waiting for me to screw up
all waiting for me to fall.
i walk into a room
hear nothing but a sound.
i feel trapped
i can't turn around.
