Deafening Silence Poem by Hermione Femalton

Deafening Silence

The silence all around me;
Pounding in my head,
The empty void of nothing;
Filling me with dread.

Silence tears at me;
Pulling me apart,
Pulling at my head;
Thudding in my heart.

The silence now is deafening;
Never ending sound,
The silent noise is everywhere,
Forced me to the ground.

All alone in darkness,
Can’t remember joy,
The silence tearing up my mind,
A scream broke the noise.
