Dear John Poem by Nicholas Wayde Turner 24

Dear John

Why does she always come first?
Why does she have the right to treat people the way she does?
Is it really that hard for her to tell the truth?
Is it really that hard for her to be nice?
Dear John, why did she try to hurt me with all those words?
Why did she try to hurt me with all those knifes?
Why did she have to make that phone call?
Why did everything go downhill after that first ring?
She said it all happened for a reason.
What is that reason?
What is the purpose?
Please help me understand.
Please help me forgive.
Please help me forget.
