Dear, Lord, I bow to thee
In my heart and on my knee
You, who guides my every step
With your love, I have no regret
Dear, Lord, you are my light
In the darkness, you shine so bright
With every breath, I call your name
And my soul is never the same
Dear, Lord, your mercy so pure
It saves me from my sinful lure
Your forgiveness, a balm to my soul
With you, I am once again whole
Dear, Lord, you are my rock
In times of storm, I hold your lock
You, who calms the raging sea
With your love, I am at peace, you see
Dear, Lord, your words I heed
For in them, I find all I need
Your teachings, a guiding light
In this world, so full of fright
Dear, Lord, your grace I adore
For in it, I find so much more
Than I could ever ask or think
Your love, an eternal link
Dear, Lord, you are my strength
In trials, you go to any length
To protect me from all harm
In your loving arms, I am calm
Dear, Lord, your will I seek
For in it, my soul does speak
Your plans, greater than my own
In them, your love is shown
