Death Is A Bloody Scarlet Poem by Omega Morgenstern

Death Is A Bloody Scarlet

Where are you going
scarlet maiden
with bloody hands
and slippy hattred?

I swear, i swear,
oh scarlet maiden,
my heart is tired
there's no more pain left

So take me with you
scarlet maiden
wherever you're going
so rentless

Your fiery eyes
oh scarlet maiden
have seen more love
and tears than angels

People don't know
oh scarlet maiden
about your kindness
and your patience

Cause people from
any blind kingdom
can't live at all
can't live a little
can't see your fairness,

oh scarlet maiden.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Here is a vision of death, a death who looks ruthless and bloody, but who's fair and patient. She isn't black, or cold, or dead as such. No, she's a fire, a bloody red, a scarlet maiden who cannot forgive and never forgets.
