Death Is No Bad Thing
Death
is no bad thing
when it is time to die
no cause to fear it
no need to seek it
it comes for us all
in our time.
we fear
what we do not know,
and yet
not knowing is not the same
as a bad, dreadful, terrible thing
not the same as suffering
not knowing is simply not knowing
that's all.
death is a friend
who greets us some day
not a thing to be feared, or sought, at all
