DELIGHT

It's a wriggly feeling, bubbling up inside
A wide smile that could even be forever
Feather light to realise the thrill of flying
Trying to get out and just share the joy
A buoy, floating and rising with the swell
To tell all those around, that it's alright
Bright eyes, seeing everything as if new
A view that suggests this is a fresh start
A heart pounding, and blood pumping
Jumping with delight, like a happy kid
