Depression Poem by H.Q. Gilbert

Depression

Rating: 3.5

The door closed
again
for the ninth time
I sit
alone
the world blurred away in a handful of seconds
and stays this way for weeks
I sit quietly
waiting for someone to make me smile
Hopefully
soon

Probably not
I'm just
moping
I don't have a
mental disorder
It's just a
Phaze
I'll get through it
All teenagers
go through it
It won't
last

But it does.

Rings poignant and sincere. I've found Poetry often helps.
