Depression Poem by Milton Wayne

Depression

From outside, you see a smile.
From within, there are many tears.
From each layer, you see amazing memories.
From the blind side, there are many tragedies.
From each chamber, the heart pumps love.
From the core, the soul is caged in and alone.
From the vessel, there are always hope near.
From the root, there is darkness.
