Hi Onareen! This is a very Joyful and Playful poem / song. It almost made me start imagining … a ‘little lady’ on a sofa … a very much of a ‘Imagine along …’ poem (not sing along…lol..) Different to your other poems not only by content but in art too. Why do I say that., In other poems your subject was Sweetness of Bitter. Here the poem is filled with happy & Romantic incidents of either memories or imaginations of like. In other poems each word had been very carefully selected to deliver the exact expression as they were complicated. Here it is found very plain, exact and simple words. It is a talent to script a ‘Hollywood Movie’ and then script a ‘Bollywood Movie’. Well at the end of the poem A question flashed in my mind… a very important one….’ So What Happened to the Bucket of Ice Cream…….Lol…’. Well then I realized another attribute. Actually I don’t think you wanted the poem to follow a sequence or the verses to be necessarily inter-related. But they are a collection of bunch of imaginations or memories that you wanted to let out. So Sweet… This shows that you are brave to use the medium to your command and free to express yourself. Also I like the demanding nature of the poem. It shows how comfort you are around him.. a romantic childishness. This makes the poem perfect.. This gives life to the words, without this style the poem would have been a ‘statement of things you like to happen’ But this has made the poem deliver the exact feeling you wanted it to deliver in a very lively manner. By the way was it Chocolate Ice Cream…..? Great! Take Care!
