Determined For Success Poem by Nick Smith

All my life I've been doubted
Everyone tried to put me down, but then suddenly I sprouted
My perspective of my life is different
I make my decisions based on my judgment
I look at all my close friends
I'll pray for them til the end
I believe in God, and I know he has chosen my path
That path is filled with success, smiles, and laughs
Im'a go to college, but I don't know what to major
I'm not stupid, and I'll never put my loved ones in danger
This year has been rough, I'm not gonna lie
I learned alot, I'm a changed guy
I want my future to be bright
I have so many goals in my sight
No one can stand in my way, but please try
I like proving people wrong, cuz I'm reaching for the sky
I don't wanna be remembered by my name
I wanna be remembered for what I've done. Is that such a shame?
I plan to achieve so much
I am something negativity can't touch
I don't plan to go out as the best
But I am determined for success
