Devil's Kiss Poem by Jessica Amburgey

Devil's Kiss

Rating: 5.0

I licked the flames of a fires bliss.
Shared in the passion of the devil's kiss.

Held in my hands a shred of hope.
Watched as it fell to the earth and broke.

Saw the sins of man so wide.
As tears of blood I began to cry.

Traced my fingers on the devil's spine.
Knew in my heart the pain was mine.

Point the finger and place the blame.
Rip off a wing for I'll bleed the same.

Spread out my arms from heaven I fall.
To walk with men and the pain of all.

Anger raging in her eyes............
Screaming as the angels cry........

Such a play between light and dark. A line not many can walk. Well done.
