Diabetes Poem by Daniel Trevelyn Joseph

Diabetes

What a waste of the world
In which I can see things
I like, but not eat them
Not today, not tomorrow
Not ever. Diabetes.
Describe it as you will,
It sinks its fangs, slow and steady,
And deprives you of all sweets!
