Did U ever fall in love with someone
but know he doesn't care?
Did U ever feel like crying
but know you'd get nowhere?

Did U ever look into his eyes
and say a little prayer?
Did U ever look into his heart
and wish that you were there?

Did U ever look into his eyes
and the lights were turned up down low?
Did U ever whisper 'God I Love You'
but afraid to let him know.

Well if you fall in love my friend
You will see it doesn't pay
Because it hurts like hell
it causes heartache
Yet it happens everyday.

Yes, Love is great
But the price to pay is high

If I had the choice of Life or Death
I think I'd Rather Die.

So, if I fall in love my friend
