My dear, did you forget
About the vows you had made
When we were under the alter
On that warm summers day
For years we looked into each other’s eyes
With a love that shined so bright
But now your eyes are empty and cold
Like a dark, cold winter night
My dear, did you forget
My love for you has not waned
But you have made me empty inside
And left my heart in pain
