Did You Know? - Poem by Reginald Goodridge

Did you know
how hard it is
for me not to
love you?

Can you fathom
what I go
through
not to love you?

thinking ever
so often
about
loving you

being with you
feeling your soul
hearing your
heart

you probably
could never
imagine
how much

i think
blink
drink
sip you

in my
dreams
screams
tears, blink you

but your
not sure
how to respond
to my love

and that(s)
cool
but I will not be your
fool

i'll just love
you
inside me
to be, just - to be

so you may never know...
