Die For You Poem by Ashley Bowen

Die For You

(intro)
You asked me if I would die for you
I would
And that's true
I would take a bullet
and clench the pain
fall to my knees
in the pouring rain it's true
I would die for you

(verse 1)
you give me a reason to live
so i would give you all I have to give
you ask me why I say these things
and I told you the truth
That I would rather die then go on without you

(chorus)
I would take a bullet
and clench the pain
fall to my knees
in the pouring rain
grab my hand
and hold on tight
we'll help each other
make it through the night
it's true
I would die for you

(verse2)
what's the point of living
if you're not here
what's the point of giving
If I can't give to you
I won't let them take your life
and I'll always be by your side
forever and ever
as long as you let me

(chorus)
I would take a bullet
and clench the pain
fall to my knees
in the pouring rain
grab my hand
and hold on tight
we'll help each other
make it through the night
it's true
I would die for you

(break)
I don't care if it hurts me
and I don't care if it kills me
you'll have to move on
don't miss me when I'm gone
go on with your life
even if it don't feel right
you have to be strong
I'll be okay
cause I died for you

(chorus)
I would take a bullet
and clench the pain
fall to my knees
in the pouring rain
grab my hand
and hold on tight
we'll help each other
make it through the night
it's true
I would die for you
