Digression Poem by Justin Reamer

Digression

You know the meaning of life is that
We are all connected,
But yet we like to go shopping.
Do you like to go shopping?
I like to go shopping, too.
I like to get bags, pearls,
Clothes, books, accessories,
And all sorts of things.

One of my friends loves to go
Shopping, too,
And once, she went shopping for clothes,
And she saw this cute boy walking toward her,
And she was like,
'Oh my gosh! He is so cute! '
So she walked toward him,
And he asked for her number,
And she gave him his number,
And he asked her out,
And now they are dating.

Speaking of dating,
Are you dating?
Do you have a girlfriend
Because I will gladly be yours
Since you are so cute and everything,
But it's up to you,
But do you?
No? Okay,
That's fine, brawny man.
I love you nonetheless.

So where was I?
The meaning of life, yes...
