Dis encouraged on the regular basis,
My heart heavy with constant doubt,
A weight upon my shoulders,
As I try to push through and sprout.
Dreams and hopes constantly squashed,
By the voices of those who don't believe,
Their words like daggers piercing,
Making it hard for me to achieve.
'You'll never make it, ' they say,
'You're not good enough, ' they cry,
Their negativity ringing loud,
As I try to reach for the sky.
But I won't let their words defeat me,
For I am stronger than they know,
Determination in my bones,
I refuse to let them steal my glow.
Dis encouraged on the regular basis,
But I refuse to let it consume me,
For I am a fighter,
And I will rise up fiercely.
With every step I take,
I drown out the naysayers' cries,
With every breath I breathe,
I silence their vicious lies.
I may stumble along the way,
But I won't let myself fall,
For I am fueled by my passion,
And it will conquer all.
Dis encouraged on the regular basis,
But I am not one to give in,
I will keep moving forward,
In spite of the darkness within.
My dreams may seem far-fetched,
But I will chase them with all my might,
For I know my potential,
And I refuse to give up the fight.
With every setback,
I will rise again,
For I am determined,
To prove all the doubters wrong, my friend.
I won't let their words hold me back,
For I am capable of so much more,
I will keep pushing and striving,
Until I reach the shore.
Dis encouraged on the regular basis,
But I will not let it define me,
For I am resilient and strong,
And I will rise above the negativity.
So let the doubters doubt,
And let the haters hate,
For I am on a mission,
And their words will not seal my fate.
With every challenge I face,
I will emerge stronger than before,
For every time I am knocked down,
I will come back even more sure.
Dis encouraged on the regular basis,
But I am learning to rise above,
To focus on my own voice,
And to trust in my own love.
I am not perfect,
And I will make mistakes,
But I won't let that stop me,
From pursuing what my heart aches.
For I refuse to be held back,
By others' lack of faith,
I will keep pushing forward,
Until I reach my destined place.
So when the doubt creeps in,
And the weight becomes too much,
I will remind myself,
That I am capable of rising above.
Dis encouraged on the regular basis,
But I am learning to embrace,
The fire within me,
And to let my dreams take their rightful place.
I won't let their words discourage me,
For I am stronger than they know,
And I will keep chasing my dreams,
Until they finally start to grow.
So to all those who dis encourage,
I say thank you, for you see,
Your words only fuel my passion,
And make me believe in me.
