Dismantle My Heart Poem by Sarojkanta Dash

Dismantle My Heart

Dismantle my heart
To your use
But go slow and easy
Let your tenderness
Simultaneously wrap
The wounds on it,
Stain not feelings
With blood.
Strain not the nerve
No need to snap
For, all its life
It has harped
On love.
Quick to pick up
The rhythm
Of other’s Breath
My heart will beat
With yours-
Unconditional
Unmindful of the blisters.
