Disruption Poem by Michael Hunter

Disruption

Storm approach brings warm south winds
which hamper the southward progress
of Canadian geese.

Their ‘flying V' staggers mid-air, and
is met with a sudden flurry of wing beats
and wild honking.

In-between gusts, the geese reform, and
The ‘flying W' or ‘zig-zag' once again
submits to their orderly formation.

Only to be blasted into chaos and
flapping as the storm approach brings
warm south winds.
