Dissociation Poem by Mary Champion

Dissociation

Who is she?
That strange robot below me;
Living life on my behalf.
She's more than welcome,
It's scarcely worth the effort.

Who is she?
That strange robot below me;
Wearing my clothes
And using my name.
Performing my duties.

Who is she?
That strange robot below me;
Devoid of all feeling,
Devoid of all purpose
Devoid of all hope.
Who is she?
That strange robot;
Not me?
