Divisions (Revision Of Why Are We Divided?) Poem by Cory Ruda

Divisions (Revision Of Why Are We Divided?)

if WE live the same,
if WE fight the same,
if WE fall and bleed and die the same,
then why are WE divided?

if you hearts beat the same,
if our lungs heave the same,
if WE run and jump and move the same,
then why are WE divided?

if WE eat the same,
if WE drink the same,
and sleep and wake under the same glowing sun,
then why are WE divided?

if WE care the same
if WE feel the same
and WE want to love and cherish the same,

THEN WHY ARE we DIVIDED?
