Don'T Fret It Poem by Kevin Seales

Don'T Fret It

Sometimes it's hard to teach
Some kids who don't understand
You want them all to reach
For all the knowledge they can

You look across the classroom
And you know, they just don't get it
And during the time they're feeling doomed
You say, 'hey', just don't fret it

We'll figure this out, you and me
We'll put our heads together
The answer will come, you will see
And you'll feel so much better

So don't give up so very fast
You're smarter than you think
This class I know that you will pass
As quick as my eye can wink

So go ahead and read out loud
I know what you can do
And when you do, you'll be proud
To know I'm proud of you
