Don't Make Me As A Racist Poem by Kauthami Thamy

Don't Make Me As A Racist

................................
I don't interest to kill
even an ant
I never thought
to give a revenge
I have been talking about
only humanity
even though
you make me a racist in a dark day.

You have stolen our history
You have destroyed our dreams
Despite
we kept silence
You have changed a war as genocide
You called us terrorists
Despite
We kept silence

We were shouting loudly
like a Dumb
You were listening carefully
like a Deaf
Today
Descendants of this land
were killed
in my sacred land

When I was in one
You burned our home
When I was in three
You were displaced us
apart from our place
When I was in teen
You killed our brothers and sisters
Now You making us a racist

You never stop to
arise your hand against us
You ever think us
as lives
I can only remember the war stories
which i heard from my childhood
I can only say the broken stories
to my children

We bore all
We became a voiceless
under your trees of wisdom
despite you
trying to make us
a racists
Beware In order to
weep of the innocents
above all
Don't make me a racist...!
