Don'T Want You To Get Hurt - Poem by Heather Hill

Sitting here staring at the phone waiting for you to call
Wondering if you still care
Where are you?
Why haven't you called?
Are you with that girl that you talked about ever hour of the day?
Crying at night in my bed
You don't know how you have hurt me and it bothers me so badly just to see you with her
Its because of you I've made it this far
Don't know if I should just give up and call you to let you know how I feel
I wanted to be with you
You make me feel alive
I just hate being without you
There's still no one out there for me, your the only one
Its because of you I have made it this far
I still love you, she is not the one you want
She's always with a different guy every night
I don't want you to get hurt even though you hurt me
But I know you were going through a tough time
Its because of you I've made it this far
I just want you to be happy, I just love you
I hope you still fell the same way about me
