Done With Love Poem by Ms Thang

Wondering today about tomorrow
Wanting to rid myself of pain and sorrow
Feeling inadequate and alone.
Barely able to take care of my own.
I’m grateful and know that I’m blessed
But wait for the day we don’t have to do with less.
Hating to limit the things I can provide
Holding back the tears, trying not to cry.
We have what we need and most of what we want
But feelings of guilt, they still tease and they haunt.
I wish I could do and give all they deserve.
But, I can’t and honestly, it hurts.
I know this too shall pass, and we’ll be fine
Just wanting to do it all for me and mine.
So, today I’ll hold my head up high
Then exhale and let out a deep sigh
Know that God has all taken care of.
And they know all I do is done with love.
