Dont Break Away Poem by kira kira

I wrote this poem for my best friend when she found out who i was dating. she didnt like it and though we did everything for her and cared about her and tried to help her she didn't listen and she didn't believe we gave a s***. I was losing my best friend bc i fell in love with the wrong person. It killed her on the inside. I will always regret what i did and how much hurt i caused her. she has forgiven me and we are closer than ever. we never talk about it. in fact we never have. She just told me a couple weeks before i moved and after i broke up with him that she forgave me and that she was sorry and we're closer than we ever have been. That was almost 5 years ago.
