Don't follow through the ancestral pathway,
For in it lies a burden hard to carry,
A path paved with expectations and traditions,
That may only lead to broken ambitions.
Don't follow through the ancestral pathway,
For it may limit your own unique way,
A road already walked by many before,
But do follow through, and you'll open many more doors.
Do follow through, and carve your own trail,
Let your heart and soul guide you without fail,
For in this world, there is only one you,
And your journey should be one that's true.
Don't follow through the ancestral pathway,
For it may hold you back, hold you at bay,
A route that may not bring fulfillment or joy,
But do follow through, and you'll find your true ploy.
Do follow through, and break free from the mold,
Embrace your passions, let them unfold,
For life is too short to live in regret,
So follow your heart, and you'll never forget.

For it may lead to a life of dismay,
A path that may not align with your soul,
But do follow through, and you'll reach your ultimate goal.
Do follow through, and embrace the unknown,
For it's in the journey, that true growth is shown,
You have the power to create your own fate,
