Downpour The Words Poem by Alistair Graham

Downpour The Words

An angry couple fighting
in a heated living room
The bass and bounce of voices
lifts the level to a boom

A raging riot of fuming words
continues all day long
Until one of the couple
takes the needle off the song

The room has now stopped spinning
all the fixtures are in place
The couple now sit hand in hand,
they laugh at what took place
