Dracula Poem by ghaleb hamade

Dracula

Candle flame gave your face a glow
Red wine turned your eyes to stars
Face whiter than Christmas snow
Full moon with some childhood scars
I look at your smile can’t have enough
You pretend to be mean you say stop
I look some more then you play rough
I pretend to be hurt then my tears drop
You pinch my cheek with freezing hands
You squeeze so hard like you want to feel
My faces heat warmer than deserts sands
Your heart screams oh my god he is real
But your mind says run woman run
The last thing you want to feel is guilt
Of killing innocent child or raping a nun
He is in mad love with an image he built
True I made an angel because I needed one
And I loved it because I had nothing to love
And I’ll love it even when it is long gone
I know angels have wings and come from above
Never dress in black and they don’t hate the sun
They praise the lord in peace like a white dove
I know how the story ended I don’t know how it began
Love is a magic spell that can blind the heart
Can turn a swan into a bat and a bat into a swan
A French café to a church and Dracula to an art
Santa into a pimp and Rudolph to a horny goat
Gods hand is not to beg Noah’s ark was not a slave boat
