Dragon Delights Poem by Dean Loughin

Dragon Delights

Rating: 3.0

Place ye a nickel of penance on me
for I am the keeper of what shall be

say what you will, for I cannot hear
the words of a fool are filled with fear

beware the dagger, spikes from the nail
fortune is without you and you shall fail

will me your strength and shield of gold
you're nothing without them, do as you're told

you'll bow down to the requests I make
you never had the power to hold what I shall take

the dragon delights
