soaring through the heavens
you want only to end this war
you've killed time and time again
and the fighting you want no more

you know someone has to win
and someone has to loose
your blade has killed many a man
in a battle no one can choose

fight for your life
slash out for your freedom
see the pain in your eyes
as you seal their doom

how many will fall today
40 or 50 men
but you must fight to stay alive
wondering where it began

you grow tired of the fight
you want to be left alone
but the battle draws on
taking you farther from your home
