I don't know where I'm going
And I'm not sure where I've been.
I only know for certain
That this girl is but a dream.
and she's there when I'm awakening
And she's there when I'm asleep.
Not sure that it's forever
or a dream that I can keep

Dream on and on forever
Let me sleep the whole day through.
Don't let me lose this moment,
and the dreams of loving you.
I don't ever want to wake up
to rise to find you gone
Just let me keep on sleeping
won't you let me just dream on?
I don't know that if I wake up
That I could face a single day
Just knowing that you're leaving
has me dreaming that you'll stay
I've searched the whole world over.
If you left I'd search again
don't make my dreams a nightmare
I know I cannot take the pain

Now I don't know what I'm doing
Or the way that it should go
Do I take a chance on waking?
Do I sleep? I just don't know.
When I awake I see your smile
When I sleep I feel you near
cause the one thing that I'm knowing
It's this broken heart I fear.
