Dream Stealers Poem by PHIL WINTER

Dream Stealers

Rating: 5.0

They come, they come
With many falsehoods,
False loves, false hates.
They come
Predators gently posturing
Yet grabbing space
Too smalll for sharing.
If you should sleep
They'd take your place.
Just one blink
Is all they need
To steal away your space.
Hold fast your dream
Let higher forces convoy you
Along life's bumpy road
Where stealers wait in ambush
To snatch away your dream!
