Dream With Love Of Darkness Poem by Mathew Cruz

Dream With Love Of Darkness

Eyes goes heavy,
find soft spots,
get more sleepy,
think must not,
Must not sleep.

Bed is found,
must not think,
What to think?
Eyes on ground,
must not flee.

Appears in the ally,
tears out of sky.
Darkness surrounds me,
as heartless drops by.
Must not fear.

Enemies in assembly.
In the mid-ally,
she weeps as weakens.
My eyes looks inflame,
Must fight for her.

Heart comes friendly,
she looks lovely,
her smile broads freely,
took my hand quickly,
and held her tightly.

Enemies approched closer.
Fear got stronger,
fleed out of horror,
as I protected her.
Must not stop.

As I saw the Cliff,
I approached at the end.
Heartless approached rapidly,
as I jumpped down bravely.
I will save her.

Blowing air I feel,
as air blows upwards.
The fall was deep,
I decide to take the fall.
As I held her on top of me,
bravely.

As my eyes's closed,
waiting for the death.
Feeling her fear,
feeling her love.
At the end of the fall,
my eyes opens in daylight,
as I start to realize,
it's just a dream.
