I live in a place,
Unlike any other.
It's beautiful and has much grace.
Full of wonder,
Full of magic, and space.
But I'm alone in this world of mine,
And so I must ponder,
How am I to keep face,
When all I have is my special place?
Who do I share it with,
And how?
I don't even know where it came from
But I can hear the water,
Though there is no sound.
I can feel the wind,
Though there is no breeze.
I can see the light,
Though the sun is hidden.
In this dream world,
I can do and be anything,
Yet, I am still alone.
I was so close to opening the door,
Leading you to the world given to me,
The day you left.
Why did you have to go?
Just when I stopped being so cold?
You took away the warmth you'd given to me,
And left me all alone, again.
