Dreaming Of Victoria Poem by Marqese Dabbs

Dreaming Of Victoria

As angels swirl around me
I dream the pleasant dream
O home of thy creation
Idyllic abstraction of the love I have
The voyage that was arranged from heartstrings stains
Victoria is in my heart
These thoughts sleep. till loneliness makes itself known
It's haunting eyes stare through the blackened waters
Precious beauty bound by an unconscious vast passion
Taken in these porcelain limbs to let love
Emotions no longer masqueraded
For this is my reality whether I submit or not
Victoria is in my heart
Chromatic pigments bleach romance
Creating thy own Imagery with the woman of my thoughts
Thoughts weigh heavy from the burden of desire
Visions of a radiant utopia driven
Victoria is in my heart
