Dreams - Poem by L.C. Bolds

I often can't sleep until I resolve to myself somehow that you

Are a part of my world

The part of my world that I would not trade for anything

In my dreams you are perfect

You let me into your world

You expose your naked soul

You allow me to know your every thought

Your fears, your goals

What makes you happy

What makes you cry

What makes you feel like a man

What strips away your manhood

And in that moment you allow

Me to embrace you

To be the barrier between you and the world

To protect you as you have protected me

To be the one who holds all your fears

And shelters you from the outside offenses

I want to be the one who protects your heart

All I ask is you that you make my dreams a reality.
