Before I closed my eyes
laid myself to sleep
you're all I saw
you're all I prayed for

Now in my dreams is you
holding my hands as we walk
laughing as if tomorrow might never come
looking deeply into my eyes

Slow dancing in the dim lights
saying you were all I wanted
pledging not to leave each other's side
you are my life

Hoping dreams won't end
wishing I may never wake
yet it was all dreams
dreams that can barely come true
