Dreams Do Come True Poem by Keyanna (Kewii) Micue

In this world we all have dreams.
The question is, are we going to follow them or not?
With my dreams they change everyday,
but one of those dreams will never change; I will always want to be with my mom.
She is my role model, I want to be just like her when I grow up.
I mean I follow in her footsteps already, but I wanna do so much more than that.
I wanna be someone.
I want to be heard.
I want to be known!
For me to be what I want, I need to fight for it, and I will do just that.
I want to be the girl that everyone knows, that everyone goes to for advice, and that everyone can trust and understand.
There is more to this world than just being an ordinary girl,
it's worth more to give kindness then receive it.
I want to make a statement, that no one is the same, we are all different in our own ways.
With me, I'm a writer, a singer, a dancer, a dreamer.
I beleive that if we work hard enough we can be what we want to be and that we can acheive anything!
With the exception that everyone makes mistakes, we can acheive anything we want.
Everyone questions; why have dreams if they never come true?
The reason why we should dream is becase they will come true, you just need to fight for it.
So those who say dreams don't come true, you never faught for them and that's why you never got your dream
With this I have to say that, dreams do come true.
You just need to fight for them to come true and you need to believe.
